Founder and creator of this incredibly SUPPORTIVE community.
I’m here to help you break free from the vicious cycle we call “dieting”so that you can get back to living a life that FILLS your soul.
The mind comes first in Mind, Body, Superfoods because the mind-body connection is real.
Have you ever asked yourself:
The answer is your mind. We tell ourselves specific stories about food, our bodies, our time, our relationships and even what we’re capable of. These stories totally shape our health. So that’s where I love to start. A healthy mind. Clear goals. And healthy thoughts that support you as you move towards those goals.
And then comes a lifestyle of healthy movement. And mindfully enjoying body-fueling, delicious whole foods.
Health can be tricky. Elusive-feeling. Our bodies have lived through unique events – events that have shaped us. We each face particular demands and challenges because of our work, families, living arrangements and the passions we pursue. So, of course, our ideas of “feeling good” aren’t all the same.
Maybe you dream of:
I want to help you get clear about what you’re after, so that getting there doesn’t feel like chasing shadows.
As a child, I was the active one. I was the one always running around. In college, I played sports. I worked at the rec center. I even got a degree in exercise science.
I realize now that through all of that fitness, I had no idea what it meant to be healthy. Even though I was working out like it was my job, I ate junk and cooked-up-in-a-lab, overly-processed non-foods.
In my mid-twenties though, the crazy eating caught up with me. (Anyone else?!) All of a sudden I was having digestive issues, chronic tiredness, a rollercoaster of moods and even trouble concentrating. And then I watched Supersize Me. The transformative power of real food was becoming clear.
At the time, I also worked in a medical lab doing research. I stumbled into the metabolic nutrition center one day, asked what they did and ended up enrolling in a Dietetics and Nutrition program. Understanding how real food makes a body feel really good (and work really well) changed the game for me.

Mind, Body, Superfoods is a coaching practice and collection of educational tools giving women the practical tools to live by our four tenets:
If you hate the habits required to create great health, you’ll never stick to them. Period. Eating well doesn’t have to be boring and lame. Exercise doesn’t need to feel like torture! We can enjoy all of these things. We can want to do them.
We’re all about uncovering the mindsets that keep us stuck. Then we replace those mindsets with new, true, life-giving thought patterns.
When you want to correct something that’s misfiring in your body, look to natural, holistic solutions (like food) first.
So many people think it’s selfish to stay in tune with their bodies and regularly make time to do what they know will help them flourish. That’s not selfish. It’s essential. If you want to be ready to support and nourish others, you need to be in a healthy, happy, full-feeling place yourself.
Shannon Williams is a master of mind-body connection. She’s helped thousands uncover the unhelpful thoughts triggering their unhealthy behavioral patterns, from late-night emotional eating to living life glued to the couch.
A lifelong athlete turned holistic nutrition expert, Shannon holds degrees in both Exercise Science and Nutrition and Dietetics. She also likes a little Chick-Fil-A every once-in-a-while! It’s all about balance, right?
Her protocol is simple and powerful. First, help clients define what great health looks like for their unique body and lifestyle. Second, interrupt and replace the thought patterns that keep them unhealthy and unhappy. And finally, create sustainable (even enjoyable!) new habits to get them from point A to point B.
Helping you find a healthy balance for you. Understanding where your energy sources come from… food!
